Belief System of Success – How to Win at Life

What do you do when your Mac or PC starts to slow down? You remove unwanted applications and maybe you will perform a full cleaning process.

But what do you do if the problem persists?

Then, I think the only way to make your pc work faster is to reinstall the operating system too and after, those other applications that you will need to get your work done.

The same thing applies to us humans. Our brain is our operating system and what sometimes slow us down are our beliefs or our “applications” if you like.

So many of us do not move ahead because we do not accept new ways of doing things, meaning uninstalling and reinstalling new applications. Continue reading “Belief System of Success – How to Win at Life”

5 REASONS WHY WE DON’T ACHIEVE EXCELLENCE

5 Reasons Why We Don't Achieve Excellence

There are many factors that can cause you to fail. On my personal development path, I came across these factors which can prevent you from getting to where you want to get.

Hopefully, I was able to overcome them and today I will share with you the 5 factors that you will come across on your journey to excellence.

1. Afraid to take risk

If you want to be successful there is no other way around. You have to take calculated risks. The person who never tried anything risky makes no mistakes. But, not making any attempt is, in fact, a bigger mistake than making the attempt and failing.

If you don’t take risks you will lose the opportunities given to you. Take risks, but don’t gamble. Take risks to move ahead in life with your eyes wide open, gamblers take risks with eyes closed. Continue reading “5 REASONS WHY WE DON’T ACHIEVE EXCELLENCE”

DO YOU HAVE A ROCK HARD CHARACTER?

How to Build a Rock Hard Character

Your character is the sum total of your beliefs, values, and personality. By analyzing your actions and the way you behave you can get the answer to what type of character you have.

A good character is something you should nourish and preserved just like you would preserve gold or jewel. To be a winner takes a character.  What determines the course of history is not critics, votes or public opinion. It is the character of the leader.

Professional Vs. Amateur

professional vs amateur

To become a pro is a disciplined process. Amateur people has a bad view of looking at successful people by thinking that they took some magic pill or they were lucky to be where they are right now whether in sports or life in general. They think that they can become a pro in one or two weeks but that’s not the case.

If you want to be a pro at anything in life and master that specific thing you have to have patience. You will fail many times is the process before becoming a master at it, the price of discipline is big. Most people do not have patience give up while still being an amateur that’s why we have more amateur than professionals.

” As an inventor, Thomas Edison made 1,000 unsuccessful attempts at inventing the light bulb. When a reporter asked, “How did it feel to fail 1,000 times?” Edison replied, “I didn’t fail 1,000 times. The lightbulb was an invention with 1,000 steps.”

So, to become a professional at anything you need to go through a lot of failures, the more you fail the closer you are to becoming a professional at it.

Some Qualities of Both:

Amateur procrastinates / Professional take action.

Amateur want instant success / Professional concentrate on improving each day.

Amateur practice enough / Professional practice relentlessly.

Amateur thinks Sprint / Professional think Marathon.

Amateur fear failure / Professional wants to fail more.

Amateur want attention / Professional want to be remembered.

How to Overcome Fear of Failure

How to Overcome Fear of Failure

AND NOW, at that moment you have a choice to make. (play it safe or face your fear)

Being me I took my motorcycle back, started the engine and continued my way to the office.

Do not allow fear to make you a small, scared and insecure. We make mistakes because we need to learn, that’s how human being grows and become mature. Mistakes don’t mean you have to give up trying.

Even if you are deeply afraid, challenge the fear or stay small.

Whatever you failed at, it doesn’t make you a fool or stupid, it means that you had at least the courage to try. “which most people don’t”

If you have fear in your job, relationship or any area of your life. The idea is not to let fear take hold of you.

When fear take out its ugly head out, beat it down quickly by doing the things you fear the most.

In fact, here is what FEAR means (False Evidence Appearing Real)

The magic is, once you get back up you are no longer a failure, you are the soldier who is still on the battlefield, the hero who is still on his horse.

We must not forget that all human progress in this world was achieved by people who had fear of failure but they had the courage not to listen to the voice of fear and get things done.

How to Deal with Anxiety and Stress-Best Ways

Anxiety and Stress

How to Deal with Anxiety and Stress, Perhaps no other word is so well known and so constantly passed around as the words “anxiety,” “depression,” and “stress.” But while these words have been making the rounds of the worlds of young adults – and even children – these days, it comes as a mammoth surprise how little people actually know of their connotations. Most of the people, most of the time, will know that they are suffering from a severe case of anxiety and depression but will hardly ever know what to do next. Knowledge pertaining to anxiety and depression usually ends at just being aware of the problem – as, for the solution, it is bare to be seen.

Adults have always had the most complaints regarding their being depressed but as we move on we find an alarming number of young adults and children joining the brigade of the depressed and the stressed. In most of the cases the cause of stress and anxiety is not difficult to put down either – financial problems, childhood abuse, post-traumatic stress, loss of a loved one, failure – there is an entire list of things that could cause stress and anxiety in a person. And while it is important, most certainly, to point out what the root cause of depression really is, what is equally important and is totally dismissed is the solution – people often focus on the cause, and the effect, but never the solution.
