Most of us go in this exact system and never feel fulfilled or happy their entire lives. Because we are living according to the system, how society thinks we should live our lives. Continue reading “How to be Happy – The Truth Revealed!”

5 REASONS WHY EXERCISE MAKES US HAPPY

exercise

You know the benefits of exercise, it keeps you healthy, stronger, young, active when you are old etc.Recent scientific studies show that exercise makes us a happier person.

It is not a coincidence that’s when you stay active or after your work out you feel less stressed out, less anxious and happier than you were before your workout.

There are many reasons why exercise makes you happy and I am going to share 5 of the main reasons with you.

It is not a coincidence that’s when you stay active or after your work out you feel less stressed out, less anxious and happier than you were before your workout. There are many reasons why exercise makes you happy and I am going to share 5 of the main reasons with you.

1. Happy Chemicals get Injected into Your Brain

A chemical which is becoming popular among many exercise lovers is called Dopamine, it is a neurotransmitter in the brain that creates the sense of happiness when you exercise.

When you are not active you tend to run out of this chemical. So, when you feel sad or in a bad mood just do some physical activity which will release Dopamine into your brain.

2. Physical Activity Reduces Stress

As part of life, 7 out of ten adults say they experience stress or anxiety on a daily basis. And this interferes with their lives.

The American Psychological Association surveyed people in 2008, more people reported physical and emotional symptoms of stress than they did in 2007 when the same survey was made. Half of them reported an increase in only a year.

Scientific study has found that when you do regular exercises it decreases overall levels of tension, make a positive impact on your mood, you sleep better, and your self-esteem is improved.

Even five minutes of physical activity will stimulate anti-anxiety effects in your system. Bottom line is this will make you a happier person.

3. More Energy

We all have down days, the days you really don’t want to do anything. You just feel like nothing is worth it. You even feel lazy to get out of bed in the morning. Studies have shown that when you feel exhausted from a long day at work or even early in the morning.

Work out is the best solution to get your energy back. You’ll feel energized after your work out than you did before it. Ever see someone who has a lot of energy but is not happy? There is your answer…

4. Confidence Booster

If you do not exercise very often you won’t feel good about your body or how you look. This lead to a low self-esteem. And that can have a negative effect on all areas of your life, without forgetting your relationships, your job, and your life goals.

On the contrary, if you do exercise, you will have a great body and you will love how you look. You will feel stronger, more confident and of course, happy happy!

5. Better Sleep

You don’t need sleeping pills, but what you need is exercise instead. If you stay active on a regular basis has been proven by scientific studies to improve sleep.

So, if you are dealing with insomniacs or any kind of sleeping issue I suggest you start exercising, and you will see the change in your sleep quality. Now tell me, if you have had a great night of sleep won’t you be happier when you get up? I do!

THE 5 DEADLY POISONOUS HABITS

Michael Josephson, the founder of Institute of Ethics argues that toxic behaviours and relationships not only make us unhappy; they corrupt our attitudes and dispositions in ways that undermine healthier relationships and prevent us from realising how much better things can be.

There are certain habits that we subconsciously perform in our daily lives and don’t give much thought to the larger impact of these activities. If these behaviours are consistent in our lives, then it leads to a very dysfunctional lifestyle with toxic relationships and ineffective attitudes.

Here’s a list of 5 deadly, poisonous behaviours that we indulge with in our day-to-day lives but don’t notice them:

COMPLAINING

While making sure your problems are heard and voicing your concerns over any form of unfair treatment is healthy and avoids people taking you for granted, complaining if done unnecessarily and constantly, can become very poisonous. Continue reading “THE 5 DEADLY POISONOUS HABITS”

6 Ways To Have More Energy

6 Ways to have more energy

Anything that you wish to accomplish in life requires energy. We all need more energy in some way, as energy is life. But what I see is that most people know what they need to do to have more energy but they don’t value their body enough to do what needs to be done. If they did value their body they would stop putting things that drain energy from their body – Smoking, alcohol, junk food and other substances, etc.

On my never ending personal development journey I discovered the great value of energy and how to master it to achieve big things, which transformed my life. Let me share with you 10 best ways to have more energy right now.

  1. Master Your Breath

We should never ever forget as simple as it is, we can live weeks without food or days without water but only a few minutes without oxygen. Every cell in our body requires oxygen. There are many types of breathing. When you yawn, it is a response to fatigue and your body is telling you that you need more energy. You need to start practising deep and diaphragmatic breathing as your new morning routine. I spend few minutes practising deep breathing each morning.

  1. Drink More Water

Am sure you already drink water every day, but how much? Our body is 70% made up of water but from my point of view, most people are dehydrated. Stop consuming foods and drinks that will dehydrate you. An indication that your body is not getting the amount of water it needs is when you feel thirsty, means you are dehydrated. I always have my 1.5lts bottle with me every day and I consume two of that which is 3lts a day. Of course, it means that I go to the bathroom more, but that’s actually a good thing as my body is flushing out more toxins.

  1. Consume Raw Foods

Most people cook their food before they consume it. That’s is okay, but when you do so, you are killing all the good things like the enzymes and nutrients from the food. If you cook your food I suggest you include more raw food in your diet. There is a natural energetic benefit you gain from consuming raw vegetables, fruit and grains.

  1. Juicing

When you juice your vegetables and fruits you are giving so much goodness to your body and health. I just started this practice and I feel much more energy throughout the day. When you do a juice cleanse it creates an amazing peak, high-level energy for your mind, body and soul. Your body drains energy while digesting the foods you consume. Juicing doesn’t need to be digested by the body so you get a boost of energy whole day if you consume more juices.

  1. Move More

The human body has more than 600 muscles. Do you think all these muscles were given to us to sit all day in an office, in a car or in front of your TV? Of course not. When you sit for long hours, that’s when you feel most tired. I try to stand more and do more activities that doesn’t require sitting. It gives me more concentration, more life and energy. Every day I run, workout or do an intense circuit. It increases the number of red blood cells in my body and gives me more energy.

  1. Sleep More

Make sure that you are getting enough sleep so that you can recover and go full out with all your energy the next day. Studies show that humans need at least 7-8 hours of sleep each day. I believe that it depends on the quality as well. 5 hours of deep sleep is better than 8 hours of interrupted sleep. Tips: Many people sleep with their alarm clock next to their bed, which emit EMFs, which can lower the quality of your sleep. Be sure to set your smartphone on airplane mode to prevent that.

Knowledge is Power?

knowledge is power

So often we hear that knowledge is power. Well, it’s not! Knowledge is only information and it becomes real power only when it is acted upon. What is the difference between a person who cannot go for a jog and a person who can but does not go for a jog? No difference here. The real power is not knowledge alone, it is wisdom. Just like all the muscles in our bodies, the brain needs to be stretched and will function on how much we exercise it.

Athletes are a great example of this. How can an athlete compete without practising relentlessly what he learned? Any type of learning is great but it will not matter at all if you don’t apply and take action on what you have learned. We all know that smoking kills slowly but surely, are you going to stop smoking right now? That is knowledge not being used and it will kill you in a few years if you don’t act.

If you are not happy with your job, relationships or any other area of your life and you know you have to make the change to be able to be happy again. Are you taking a step towards self-improvement? If you are not, then you are not applying what you know you should do.

The more I know the more I realise I don’t know. The more I know, the more I can become overwhelmed with choices and the actions that are necessary. When added up, they seem impossible. I’ve found it’s important to keep in mind that any action of applying knowledge is a step towards progress. Progress is small steps added up to create big change.

Do You Have the Right Attitude?

There was a man who made his living selling balloons at a fair. He had all colours of balloons Including red, yellow, green. Whenever business was slow, he would release helium-filled balloons into the air and when the children saw it go up, they all wanted to buy one.

They would come up to him, buy a balloon and his sales would go up again. He continues this process all day. One day, he felt something tugging his jacket. He turned around and saw a little boy who asked,” If you release a black balloon, would that also fly?” Moved by the boy’s concern, the man replied with empathy.” Son, it is not the Colour of the balloon, it is what inside that makes it go up.”

The same thing applies to our lives. It is what is inside that counts. The thing inside of us that makes it go up is our attitude. In short, attitude is the way we think, feel and react to the things happening around us. According to studies, our attitude is the most important thing when we need a job or a promotion. Yes, surprisingly intelligence and knowledge come only in second place when it comes to this.

We need a good attitude towards all areas of life, including personal and professional. Can an athlete be a good athlete without a good attitude? Can a CEO be a good CEO without a good attitude? Can parents, students, employees or even teachers be good in their roles without a good attitude?

Regardless of your field of expertise, the foundation of success is the attitude.

If attitude is so important in your life, shouldn’t you analyse it and see if your attitude is contributing to your progress or downfall? Your attitude will determine how you look at failure and success. A positive thinker will see failure as part of success and on the other hand, a negative thinker will see it as an excuse to give it all up. So, which one are you?

Once a man interviewed CEO’s all around the world and asked them if they would change anything in their workforce what would it be. They all replied “Attitude”. They would do so by investing in their most valuable asset which is people. The simple reason why some businesses are more effective than others is because they think and act more effectively.

Professional Vs. Amateur

professional vs amateur

To become a pro is a disciplined process. Amateur people has a bad view of looking at successful people by thinking that they took some magic pill or they were lucky to be where they are right now whether in sports or life in general. They think that they can become a pro in one or two weeks but that’s not the case.

If you want to be a pro at anything in life and master that specific thing you have to have patience. You will fail many times is the process before becoming a master at it, the price of discipline is big. Most people do not have patience give up while still being an amateur that’s why we have more amateur than professionals.

” As an inventor, Thomas Edison made 1,000 unsuccessful attempts at inventing the light bulb. When a reporter asked, “How did it feel to fail 1,000 times?” Edison replied, “I didn’t fail 1,000 times. The lightbulb was an invention with 1,000 steps.”

So, to become a professional at anything you need to go through a lot of failures, the more you fail the closer you are to becoming a professional at it.

Some Qualities of Both:

Amateur procrastinates / Professional take action.

Amateur want instant success / Professional concentrate on improving each day.

Amateur practice enough / Professional practice relentlessly.

Amateur thinks Sprint / Professional think Marathon.

Amateur fear failure / Professional wants to fail more.

Amateur want attention / Professional want to be remembered.

Always Stay Great.

How to Deal with Anxiety and Stress-Best Ways

Anxiety and Stress

How to Deal with Anxiety and Stress, Perhaps no other word is so well known and so constantly passed around as the words “anxiety,” “depression,” and “stress.” But while these words have been making the rounds of the worlds of young adults – and even children – these days, it comes as a mammoth surprise how little people actually know of their connotations. Most of the people, most of the time, will know that they are suffering from a severe case of anxiety and depression but will hardly ever know what to do next. Knowledge pertaining to anxiety and depression usually ends at just being aware of the problem – as, for the solution, it is bare to be seen.

Adults have always had the most complaints regarding their being depressed but as we move on we find an alarming number of young adults and children joining the brigade of the depressed and the stressed. In most of the cases the cause of stress and anxiety is not difficult to put down either – financial problems, childhood abuse, post-traumatic stress, loss of a loved one, failure – there is an entire list of things that could cause stress and anxiety in a person. And while it is important, most certainly, to point out what the root cause of depression really is, what is equally important and is totally dismissed is the solution – people often focus on the cause, and the effect, but never the solution.
