Whatever your station is in life, there are many ways that you can increase the money you make or start making money if you are not making any money yet. The best and most accurate answer for how to make more money is something I learned from my teacher Jim Rohn.

He often said in his seminars:
“You get paid for bringing value to the marketplace, and if you’re not very valuable you don’t make much money.”

So, by this saying, he means that the secret to making more money is to become more valuable.

How do you become more valuable?

You become more valuable by improving yourself, take the path of personal development. Invest in yourself, read more books, go to seminars, take online courses, hire mentors. The more knowledge, skills and wisdom you accumulate, the more value you will be able to provide to your customers or your employer.

Some questions you need to ask yourself if you want to make more money:

  • How many books did you read this year?
  • How many seminars did you attend?
  • How many online courses did you take?
  • How many mentors are you learning from?
  • Are the people you spend time with the right people or wrong people?
  • Are you in a healthy relationship or unhealthy one?

Always remember that you will become who you spend time with…so you must be really careful of your surroundings.

These are very important questions that you need to answer before you go on and try to make more money. You have to eliminate the bad influences and take on the new habits to get closer to your objectives.

There is a saying that goes, “the more you learn, the more you earn.”

The more you invest in yourself, the more your life will improve. So, if you want to make more money it all starts with you.

Another favourite quote from Jim Rohn is: “Work harder on yourself than you do on your job.”

If you work hard on your job you will make a living, if you work hard on yourself you can make a fortune.

So which is it?

I recommend you to watch this video again and again so that you deepen the learning and start taking actions.
